Import members via Excel

An import file can be used to generate a large group of people as members in one go. You can also use it to import contact data of (existing) members.

  • Click Setup
  • Under Members, click Members
  • Click Add
  • The Add members page opens
  • Click from Excel
  • A new page opens
  • Click Browse to select a file from your computer

Use this file to import a multiple members at once. Ensure that the import file at least contains a First name, Last name and Email per member. Using a file makes it easy to also import further data such as the address.
If you use your own file only the column’s First name, Last name and Email are required. Ensure that the column name is the same as the field name on the address card. The order of the columns is not relevant.

  • Click Next
  • A new page opens
  • The system will first check the import file and inform you about possible errors and the import status per member

The icons in front of the member in this screen show the import status, i.e. new, modify, unchanged, ignored or incorrect. You can edit them by clicking ‘previous’. Carefully check whether the data are really correct. If not, you can adjust the file and import it once again.

  • Click import to import the new members
  • The new members are imported

The following screen allows you to set permissions for all members of all available groups in one action. Caution: This means that all these members will have the same permissions.

  • Enter permissions per group
  • [Optional] Directly add all new members to a specific member list
  • Click Save
