The group calendar is useful to schedule meetings and events that are relevant to (a selection of) the members. When planning the Calendar, you can invite / notify members by Email. The advantage is that all members can see the meeting even when they have not been invited.

The members whom you invite by means of a notification will receive an email similar to an email send from Outlook. Again they can click Accept, which immediately puts the appointment in their personal calendars. An email is sent to Viadesk, indicating that the appointment has been switched to Accepted by that person.

Tip: The calendar can be easily secured. This allows you to specify exactly who has access to the calendar and who are allowed to plan appointments in it.

The calendar lists all planned appointments. The default display is a monthly overview, but members can also select a weekly, three-day or daily overview. The weekly overview also display the end time of an appointment.
